Red EarthMETROSPECTIVE: VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS OF METROSEXUALITY

Metrosexuality, the new urbane masculinity of contemporary times; and its worldwide, widespread popularity has bought about a radical paradigm shift in masculinity. The spotlight is on men like never before. This visual exhibit is an attempt to portray some facets of this new masculinity. Defining metrosexuality inclusively and fluidly as metro-sexuality, or masculinity in the city; the attempt is to represent varied elements of metro-sexuality; as interpreted by art practitioners from diverse artistic traditions.
