Email from Mark Simpson, British journalist who coined the term 'metrosexual':

"Dear Himanshu Verma,

Many thanks for your rather attractive, coquettish even, pamphlet-brochure which I enjoyed thumbing.

It's a smart, well-observed, well-written essay and makes much more sense of global metrosexmania than I ever could.  Especially interesting to see how you blend metrosexuality in with older, pre-Christian/non-Christian Indian traditions.  Ironically, or perhaps appropriately, very few in the West have written this seriously or sharply about metrosexuality.  But perhaps this is because it would just get in the way of the business of selling it around the world.  Including of course to India.

Oh, yes: and it's always nice to see myself quoted.

Best,

M"
